कार्यम् सम्प्रतिपद्यन्ताम् एतत् कृत्यतमम् मम ।
वानराणाम् हि वीराणाम् सहस्रैः परिवारितः ॥६-६-१६॥
kāryaṃ saṃpratipadyantāmetatkṛtyaṃ mataṃ mama । vānarāṇāṃ hi vīrāṇāṃ sahasraiḥ parivāritaḥ ॥6-6-16॥

English Commentary
Moving from theory to the agenda. Ravana lays out the immediate crisis. He demands a specific course of action ('karyam sampratipadyantam'). The mention of 'thousands of monkeys' indicates he is aware of the scale of the invasion.
