तस्मिन्न् एवम् गते कार्ये विरुद्धे वानरैः सह ।
हितम् पुरे च सैन्ये च सर्वम् सम्मन्त्र्यताम् मम ॥६-६-१९॥
asminnevaṃgate kārye viruddhe vānaraiḥ saha । hitaṃ pure ca sainye ca sarvaṃ saṃmantryatāṃ mama ॥6-6-19॥
Translation
In this situation where conflict has arisen with the monkeys, advise me on everything that is beneficial for me, the city, and the army.

वानरों के साथ विरोध (युद्ध) उपस्थित होने पर, इस कार्य की ऐसी स्थिति में, मेरे लिए, नगर के लिए और सेना के लिए जो भी हितकारी हो, वह सब विचार कीजिये।
English Commentary
Conclusion of the address. Ravana asks for a holistic survival plan covering himself, the city, and the army. The priority order ('Mama' - me, then city, then army) subtly reveals his narcissistic leadership style. He acknowledges the reality of the war ('viruddhe') and formally hands over the floor to his ministers to devise the strategy.

सर्ग का समापन। रावण अपनी बात समाप्त करते हुए 'हितम्' (कल्याणकारी) सलाह मांगता है। वह तीन चीजों की सुरक्षा चाहता है: 1. स्वयं की (मम), 2. नगर की (पुरे), और 3. सेना की (सैन्ये)। यह क्रम महत्वपूर्ण है—रावण सबसे पहले खुद को रखता है। यह एक स्वार्थी राजा का लक्षण है, जबकि श्री राम प्रजा को पहले रखते हैं।
