शय्यायां न्यस्तसर्वाङ्गं मेदोरुधिरगन्धिनम् ।
काञ्चनाङ्गदनद्धाङ्गं किरीटिनमरिन्दमम् ॥६-६०-३०॥
śayyāyāṃ nyastasarvāṅgaṃ medorudhiragandhinam |
kāñcanāṅgadanaddhāṅgaṃ kirīṭinamarindamam ॥6-60-30॥
Translation
He was lying on the bed with all his limbs spread out, smelling of fat and blood. He was adorned with golden armlets, wore a crown, and was a tamer of enemies.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह शय्या पर अपने सारे अंगों को फैलाए पड़ा था, उससे चर्बी और खून की गंध आ रही थी। वह सोने के बाजूबंद पहने था, मुकुटधारी था और शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाला था।
English Commentary
This scene is both grotesque and regal. On one hand, the smell of blood and fat; on the other, golden ornaments. This is the reality of Rakshasa culture—a blend of opulence and cruelty.
