तुमुलं युगपच्चापि विनेदुश्चाप्यमर्षिताः ।
नेदुरास्फोटयामासुश्चिक्षिपुस्ते निशाचराः ॥ ६.६०.३७ ॥ कुम्भकर्णविबोधार्थं चक्रुस्ते विपुलं स्वनम् ॥ ॥६-६०-३७॥
tumulaṃ yugapaccāpi vineduścāpyamarṣitāḥ |
nedurāsphoṭayāmāsuścikṣipuste niśācarāḥ |

kumbhakarṇavibodhārthaṃ cakruste vipulaṃ svanam ॥6-60-37॥
Translation
They made a tumultuous noise all together. Those intolerant night-romers roared, clapped their arms, and threw themselves about. They created a huge sound to wake Kumbhakarna.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे एक साथ मिलकर तुमुल (भयंकर) नाद करने लगे। उन असहिष्णु निशाचरों ने गर्जना की, ताल ठोकी और अंगों को पछाड़ा। कुम्भकर्ण को जगाने के लिए उन्होंने भारी शोर मचाया।
English Commentary
As gentle methods fail, they resort to physical commotion and terrible noise. 'Amarshitah' (intolerant/angry) implies they were getting frustrated by the lack of success.

सामान्य उपायों के विफल होने पर वे शारीरिक चेष्टाएँ और भीषण शोर करते हैं। 'अमर्षित' (क्रोधित/असहिष्णु) शब्द बताता है कि वे अपनी असफलता से खीझ रहे थे।
