दशराक्षससाहस्रा युगपत् पर्यवादयन् ।
नीलाञ्जनचयाकारास्ते तु तं प्रत्यबोधयन् ॥६-६०-४३॥
daśarākṣasasāhasrā yugapat paryavādayan |
nīlāñjanacayākārāste tu taṃ pratyabodhayan ॥6-60-43॥
Translation
...ten thousand Rakshasas played simultaneously. Those demons, black like heaps of collyrium, tried to wake him up.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...दस हजार राक्षसों ने एक साथ बजाया। काजल के ढेर के समान काले वे राक्षस उसे जगाने का प्रयास करने लगे।
English Commentary
Ten thousand instruments playing at once! The noise is unimaginable. The black complexion of the demons adds to the grimness of the scene.

दस हजार वाद्ययंत्रों का एक साथ बजना! यह कोलाहल कल्पनातीत है। राक्षसों का काला रंग (नीलांजन) दृश्य को और भयावह बनाता है।
