महोदरवचः श्रुत्वा राक्षसैः परिवारितः ।
कुम्भकर्णो महातेजाः सम्प्रतस्थे महाबलः ॥६-६०-८४॥
mahodaravacaḥ śrutvā rākṣasaiḥ parivāritaḥ |
kumbhakarṇo mahātejāḥ sampratasthe mahābalaḥ ॥6-60-84॥
Translation
Hearing Mahodara's words, the highly radiant and mighty Kumbhakarna, surrounded by Rakshasas, set out (to see Ravana).
हिंदी अनुवाद
महोदर के वचन सुनकर, राक्षसों से घिरा हुआ महातेजस्वी और महाबली कुम्भकर्ण (रावण के पास जाने के लिए) प्रस्थान कर गया।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna heeds the counsel, showing he is amenable to reason despite his fury. He sets out to meet his brother. The descriptors 'mahatejah' (great splendor) and 'mahabalah' (great strength) accompany him, portraying a majestic, if terrifying, figure marching through the corridors of Lanka.

कुम्भकर्ण ने महोदर की उचित सलाह मान ली। यह दर्शाता है कि वह केवल एक विशालकाय दैत्य नहीं था, बल्कि उसमें तर्क सुनने की क्षमता भी थी। 'महातेजाः' और 'महाबलः' विशेषण उसकी शारीरिक और मानसिक उपस्थिति को पुष्ट करते हैं। वह अपने दल-बल के साथ रावण के भवन की ओर चला।
