प्रबुद्धः कुम्भकर्णो ऽयं भ्राता ते राक्षसर्षभ ।
कथं तत्रैव निर्यातु द्रक्ष्यस्येनमिहागतम् ॥६-६०-८७॥
prabuddhaḥ kumbhakarṇo'yaṃ bhrātā te rākṣasarṣabha |
kathaṃ tatraiva niryātu drakṣyasyenamihāgatam ॥6-60-87॥
Translation
O Best of Rakshasas! This brother of yours, Kumbhakarna, has awakened. How (should he proceed)? Should he march out from there itself, or will you see him come here?
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राक्षसश्रेष्ठ! आपका भाई यह कुम्भकर्ण जाग गया है। (अब आज्ञा दें) वह कैसे करे—क्या वहीं से (युद्ध के लिए) निकल जाए या आप उसे यहाँ आया हुआ देखना चाहेंगे?
English Commentary
The messengers seek orders. 'Prabuddhah' (awakened) is the key news. They offer Ravana a choice: immediate deployment or a strategic meeting. This highlights the chain of command; even the mighty Kumbhakarna waits for the King's directive.
