कुम्भकर्णं समीक्ष्यैव हरयो ऽद्य प्रविद्रुताः ।
कथमेनं रणे क्रुद्धं वारयिष्यन्ति वानराः ॥६-६१-३२॥
kumbhakarṇaṃ samīkṣyaiva harayo 'dya pravidrutāḥ |
kathamenāṃ raṇe kruddhaṃ vārayiṣyanti vānarāḥ ॥6-61-32॥
Translation
Upon just seeing Kumbhakarna, the Vanaras have fled today. How will the Vanaras be able to withstand this enraged demon in battle?

कुम्भकर्ण को देखते ही वानर आज भाग खड़े हुए हैं। युद्ध में अत्यंत क्रोधित इस राक्षस को वानर कैसे रोक पाएंगे?
English Commentary
Vibhishana is not questioning the capability of the Vanara army but is emphasizing the sheer horror posed by Kumbhakarna. He knows that it is impossible to stop him through ordinary strength. This forces Shri Rama to realize that He Himself must provide the solution to this crisis.

विभीषण यहाँ वानर सेना की क्षमता पर प्रश्न नहीं उठा रहे, बल्कि कुम्भकर्ण की विभीषिका को रेखांकित कर रहे हैं। वे जानते हैं कि साधारण बल से इसे रोकना असम्भव है। यह श्री राम को यह सोचने पर विवश करता है कि उन्हें स्वयं ही इस समस्या का समाधान करना होगा।
