राघवेण समादिष्टो नीलो हरिचमूपतिः ।
शशास वानरानीकं यथावत् कपिकुञ्जरः ॥६-६१-३७॥
rāghaveṇa samādiṣṭo nīlo haricamūpatiḥ |
śaśāsa vānarānīkaṃ yathāvat kapikuñjaraḥ ॥6-61-37॥
Translation
Being thus commanded by Shri Rama, Nila, the commander of the monkey army and foremost among monkeys, instructed the Vanara forces accordingly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री रघुनाथ जी द्वारा आदेश दिए जाने पर वानर सेनापति नील ने, जो वानरों में श्रेष्ठ थे, वानर सेना को विधिपूर्वक आज्ञा दी।
English Commentary
Nila is described as 'Kapikunjarah' (foremost among monkeys like an elephant), validating his strength and leadership. It is the duty of a skilled general to execute his master's commands to the letter. Nila organized the army 'yathavat' (accordingly/methodically), reflecting the discipline within the Vanara host.

नील को यहाँ 'कपिकुञ्जरः' (वानरों में हाथी के समान श्रेष्ठ) कहा गया है, जो उनके बल और नेतृत्व को पुष्ट करता है। एक कुशल सेनापति का धर्म है कि वह अपने स्वामी के आदेश का अक्षरशः पालन करे। नील ने सेना को 'यथावत्' अर्थात शास्त्रोक्त और सामरिक विधि से व्यवस्थित किया, जो वानर सेना के अनुशासन को दर्शाता है।
