अनभिज्ञाय शास्त्रार्थान् पुरुषाः पशुबुद्धयः ।
प्रागल्भ्याद्वक्तुमिच्छन्ति मन्त्रेष्वभ्यन्तरीकृताः ॥६-६३-१४॥
anabhijñāya śāstrārthān puruṣāḥ paśubuddhayaḥ |
prāgalbhyādvaktumicchanti mantreṣvabhyantarīkṛtāḥ ॥6-63-14॥
Translation
Men of animal intellect, ignorant of the meaning of scriptures, who have been included in the council, wish to speak out of sheer audacity.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शास्त्रों के अर्थ को न जानने वाले, पशुबुद्धि (मूर्ख) लोग, जो मंत्रणा में शामिल कर लिए गए हैं, अपनी धृष्टता के कारण (अंट-शंट) बोलना चाहते हैं।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna points to Ravana's sycophantic courtiers (like Mahodara, Vajradamstra) who fed Ravana's ego. He calls them 'pashubuddhi' (animal-minded) as they don't understand the state's welfare.

कुम्भकर्ण रावण के चाटुकार दरबारी (जैसे महोदर, वज्रदंष्ट्र) की ओर इशारा कर रहा है, जिन्होंने रावण के अहंकार को बढ़ावा दिया। वह उन्हें 'पशुबुद्धि' कहता है क्योंकि वे राज्य के हित को नहीं समझते।
