भक्षितः ससुहृद्रामो राक्षसैरिति विश्रुते ॥६-६४-३०॥

English Commentary
A rumor ('Kaulinam') gains the weight of truth when repeated constantly. Mahodara aims for this societal consensus. He wants every citizen of Lanka to parrot the lie so its resonance inevitably reaches Sita. This provides a precise depiction of the abuse of information systems.

अफवाह (कौलीनम्) जब बार-बार सुनी जाती है, तो वह सत्य जैसी लगने लगती है। महोदर का लक्ष्य इसी सामाजिक स्वीकृति को प्राप्त करना है। वह चाहता है कि लंका का बच्चा-बच्चा इस झूठ को बोले ताकि उसका प्रभाव सीता जी के कानों तक पहुँचे। यह सूचना तंत्र के दुरुपयोग का सटीक चित्रण है।
