तस्मात्तु भयनाशार्थं भवान् सम्बोधितो मया ।
अयं हि कालः सुहृदां राक्षसानामरिन्दम ॥६-६५-१२॥
tasmāttu bhayanāśārthaṃ bhavān sambodhito mayā |
ayaṃ hi kālaḥ suhṛdāṃ rākṣasānāmarindama ॥6-65-12॥
Translation
Therefore, you have been awakened by me for the destruction of fear. O Tamer of Enemies! This is indeed the time for well-wishing Rakshasas (to help).
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसलिए भय का नाश करने के लिए मैंने तुम्हें जगाया है। हे अरिंदम! अपने हितेषी राक्षसों (के काम आने) का यही समय है।
English Commentary
Ravana emphasizes the timing. 'Ayam hi kalah' (This is indeed the time) implies that all past favors and bonds culminate in this moment. He frames the war as a duty of a true friend ('suhridam') to save his kin. It's a call to action invoking loyalty and urgency.

रावण पुनरावृत्ति करता है कि कुम्भकर्ण को जगाने का एकमात्र उद्देश्य 'भयनाशार्थं' (भय को मिटाना) है। वह याद दिलाता है कि सच्चे 'सुहृद' (मित्र/हितैषी) की परीक्षा संकट काल में ही होती है। 'अरिंदम' (शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाला) संबोधन कुम्भकर्ण को उसके कर्तव्य की याद दिलाता है।
