English Commentary
The visual is terrifying. Red garlands and blood stains ('shatru-shonita-ranjitam') evoke imagery of sacrifice and slaughter. The weapon emitting fire ('udgata-pavakam') suggests it is imbued with mystical energy. Kumbhakarna wielding this represents the unleashing of hellish forces.
