रक्ताक्षाः सुमहाकाया नीलाञ्जनचयोपमाः ।
शूलानुद्यम्य खड्गांश्च निशितांश्च परश्वधान् ॥६-६५-३८॥
raktākṣāḥ sumahākāyā nīlāñjanacayopamāḥ |
śūlānudyamya khaḍgāṃśca niśitāṃśca paraśvadhān ॥6-65-38॥
Translation
Red-eyed, possessing huge bodies, resembling heaps of black collyrium, they marched raising tridents, swords, and sharp axes.
हिंदी अनुवाद
लाल आँखों वाले, विशाल शरीर वाले और काले काजल के ढेर के समान (काले) वे राक्षस शूल, खड्ग (तलवार) और तीखे फरसे (परश्वध) उठाए हुए थे।
English Commentary
Visual description of the army: dark as collyrium ('nilanjana') with red eyes. Armed with melee weapons like axes and swords, they represent a brute force assault. The color imagery adds to the ominous nature of their advance.

राक्षस सैनिकों का रंग-रूप। वे 'नीलाञ्जन' (काजल) जैसे काले और लाल आँखों वाले थे। उनके हथियार—शूल, तलवार, फरसे—पारंपरिक और घातक थे। यह एक काली, विनाशकारी आंधी जैसा दृश्य था।
