YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 66•SHLOKA: 25
शयामहे ऽथ निहताः पृथिव्यामल्पजीविताः ।
दुष्प्रापं ब्रह्मलोकं वा प्राप्नुमो युधि सूदिताः ॥६-६६-२५॥
śayāmahe 'tha nihatāḥ pṛthivyāmalpajīvitāḥ |
duṣprāpaṃ brahmalokaṃ vā prāpnumo yudhi sūditāḥ ॥6-66-25॥
Translation
Either we shall lie on the earth, slain (since life is short), or, killed in battle, we shall attain the difficult-to-obtain Brahmaloka.
हिंदी अनुवाद
या तो हम मारे जाकर पृथ्वी पर सोएंगे (क्योंकि जीवन छोटा है), अथवा युद्ध में वीरगति पाकर दुर्लभ ब्रह्मलोक को प्राप्त करेंगे।
English Commentary
Kshatriya philosophy: Life is ephemeral. Death in battle is the gateway to salvation (Brahmaloka). It is a win-win situation.

क्षत्रिय दर्शन: जीवन क्षणभंगुर है। युद्ध में मृत्यु मोक्ष (ब्रह्मलोक) का द्वार है। यह दोनों स्थितियों में लाभ का सौदा है।
