मेदोवसाशोणितदिग्धगात्रः कर्णावसक्तग्रथितान्त्रमालः ।
ववर्ष शूलानि सुतीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रः कालो युगान्ताग्निरिव प्रवृद्धः ॥६-६७-१०१॥
medovasāśoṇitadigdhagātraḥ karṇāsaktagrathitāntramālaḥ |
vavarṣa śūlāni sutīkṣṇadaṃṣṭraḥ kālo yugāntāgniriva pravṛddhaḥ ॥6-67-101॥
Translation
With his body smeared with fat, marrow, and blood, wearing a garland of intestines hanging from his ears, and possessing sharp tusks, Kumbhakarna began raining tridents like the expanded fire at the end of an eon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
चर्बी, वसा और रक्त से लथपथ अंगों वाला, कानों में लटकी हुई अंतड़ियों की माला वाला और तीखे दांतों वाला वह कुम्भकर्ण प्रलय की बढ़ती हुई अग्नि के समान शूलों की वर्षा करने लगा।
English Commentary
This describes Kumbhakarna in his most gruesome and terrifying form. Wearing a garland of intestines ('Antramala') is a symbol of his inhuman cruelty. He now appeared as Death ('Kala') personified. This scene portrays the horror of war where humanity has vanished, leaving only a demonic dance of destruction.

यह कुम्भकर्ण के सबसे वीभत्स और डरावने स्वरूप का वर्णन है। अंतड़ियों की माला (अन्त्रमाला) पहनना उसके अमानवीय क्रूरता का प्रतीक है। वह अब साक्षात् 'काल' के समान लग रहा था। यह दृश्य युद्ध की उस विभीषिका को चित्रित करता है जहाँ मानवता का लोप हो चुका है और केवल राक्षसी ताण्डव शेष है।
