भिद्यमानस्तदा तैस्तु विषेहे तन्न राक्षसः ।
ततश्चुकोप बलवान् सुमित्रानन्दवर्धनः ॥६-६७-१०४॥
bhidyamānastadā taistu viṣehe tanna rākṣasaḥ |
tataścukopa balavān sumitrānandavardhanaḥ ॥6-67-104॥
Translation
Being pierced by those arrows, that Rakshasa (Kumbhakarna) could not bear the pain. Then the powerful Lakshmana, the enhancer of Sumitra's joy, became even more enraged.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन बाणों से बिंधे जाने पर उस राक्षस (कुम्भकर्ण) को वह पीड़ा सहन नहीं हुई। तब सुमित्रा के आनंद को बढ़ाने वाले बलवान लक्ष्मण अत्यंत क्रोधित हो गए।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna, who had dismissed the Vanaras' mountains as mere touches, was perturbed by the sting of Shri Lakshmana's arrows. This validates the vital-piercing power of His weaponry. Shri Lakshmana's 'fury' escalates as He witnesses the demon's inhuman acts. This verse highlights the rising intensity of the confrontation.

कुम्भकर्ण, जो वानरों के पर्वतों को स्पर्श मात्र मान रहा था, वह श्री लक्ष्मण के बाणों की मार से विचलित हो गया। यह बाणों की मर्मभेदी शक्ति को सिद्ध करता है। श्री लक्ष्मण का 'क्रोध' यहाँ बढ़ता जा रहा है क्योंकि वे शत्रु के अमानवीय कृत्यों को देख रहे हैं। यह श्लोक युद्ध की बढ़ती हुई तीव्रता को दर्शाता है।
