तानहं योधयिष्यामि स्वबलेन प्रमाथिना ।
इत्युक्तवाक्यं तद्रक्षः प्रोवाच स्तुतिसंहितम् ॥६-६७-११४॥
tānahāṃ yodhayiṣyāmi svabalena pramāthinā |
ityuktavākyaṃ tadrakṣaḥ provāca stutisaṃhitam ॥6-67-114॥
Translation
I shall fight them all with my destructive power. Having spoken these words filled with self-praise, that Rakshasa (Kumbhakarna) continued.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन सबको मैं अपनी विनाशकारी शक्ति से युद्ध में देख लूँगा। अपनी प्रशंसा से युक्त यह बात उस राक्षस (कुम्भकर्ण) ने कही।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna's confidence here borders on extreme pride. He considers himself so powerful that he deems everyone else insignificant once Shri Rama is removed. The term 'Pramathina' denotes his churning, destructive force. Here, he is reinforcing his plan through boastful speech.
हिंदी टीका
कुम्भकर्ण का आत्मविश्वास यहाँ दर्प (अहंकार) की सीमा छू रहा है। वह स्वयं को इतना शक्तिशाली मानता है कि श्री राम के बाद वह किसी को भी तुच्छ समझता है। 'प्रमाथिना' शब्द उसकी मथ डालने वाली प्रचंड शक्ति का सूचक है। यहाँ वह अपनी योजना को शब्दों के माध्यम से पुष्ट कर रहा है।
