तानि चान्यानि रक्षांसि पुनश्चान्यद्गिरेः शिरः ।
तच्छैलशृङ्गाभिहतं हताश्वं हतसारथि ॥६-६७-१२॥
tāni cānyāni rakṣāṃsi punaścānyadgireḥ śiraḥ |
tacchailaśṛṅgābhihataṃ hatāśvaṃ hatasārathi ॥6-67-12॥
Translation
By the impact of that mountain peak, many other Rakshasas were killed, horses were destroyed, and their charioteers were also slain.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वत के उस शिखर के प्रहार से अनेक राक्षस मारे गए, घोड़े नष्ट हो गए और उनके सारथी भी काल के ग्रास बन गए।
English Commentary
The widespread destruction caused by a single strike is an announcement of Vanara power. The slaying of charioteers renders an army directionless. This verse conveys that no matter how well-equipped the army of Adharma is, a single powerful strike from the supporters of Truth is enough to scatter it.
हिंदी टीका
एक ही प्रहार से होने वाला यह व्यापक विनाश वानरों की शक्ति का उद्घोष है। सारथियों का मारा जाना सेना को दिशाहीन बना देता है। यह श्लोक यह संदेश देता है कि अधर्म की सेना चाहे कितनी भी सुसज्जित क्यों न हो, सत्य के समर्थकों का एक भी प्रचंड प्रहार उसे छिन्न-भिन्न करने के लिए पर्याप्त है।
