रक्षसां रुधिरक्लिन्नं बभूवायोधनं महत् ।
रथिनो वानरेन्द्राणां शरैः कालान्तकोपमैः ॥६-६७-१३॥
rakṣasāṃ rudhiraklinnaṃ babhūvāyodhanaṃ mahat |
rathino vānarendrāṇāṃ śaraiḥ kālāntakopamaiḥ ॥6-67-13॥
Translation
That great battlefield became drenched with the blood of Rakshasas. The chariot-bound Rakshasas began to pierce the Vanaras with arrows resembling Death itself.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षसों के रक्त से वह विशाल युद्धभूमि लथपथ हो गई। रथों पर सवार राक्षसों ने काल के समान बाणों से वानरों को बींधना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
The horror of war manifests here as 'Rudhiraklinna' (drenched in blood) earth. The Rakshasas have now resorted to their archery. Arrows described as 'Kalantakopamaih' (resembling the End of Time) highlight their lethality. The conflict has escalated to the highest level of weaponry, where both sides are bent on total annihilation.

युद्ध की विभीषिका अब 'रुधिरक्लिन्न' (रक्त से गीली) भूमि के रूप में प्रकट हो रही है। राक्षसों ने अब बाणों का सहारा लिया है। 'कालान्तकोपमैः' (मृत्यु के समान) बाणों का उल्लेख उनकी मारक क्षमता को दर्शाता है। यह संघर्ष अब अस्त्र-शस्त्र के उच्चतम स्तर पर पहुँच गया है जहाँ दोनों पक्ष एक-दूसरे का समूल नाश करने पर तुले हैं।
