तस्य रामेण विद्धस्य सहसाभिप्रधावतः ।
अङ्गारमिश्राः क्रुद्धस्य मुखान्निःशेरुरर्चिषः ॥६-६७-१२०॥
tasya rāmeṇa viddhasya sahasābhipradhāvataḥ |
aṅgāramiśrāḥ kruddhasya mukhānniḥśerurarciṣaḥ ॥6-67-120॥
Translation
As he was pierced by Shri Rama's arrows and continued to rush forward, flames mixed with glowing embers issued from the mouth of that enraged Rakshasa.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री राम के बाणों से बिंधे हुए और तेजी से दौड़ते हुए उस क्रोधित राक्षस के मुख से अंगारों से मिली हुई अग्नि की ज्वालाएँ निकलने लगीं।
English Commentary
This illustrates the peak of Kumbhakarna's rage and his demonic nature. Flames ('Archishah') issuing from his mouth suggest that the pain from the arrows pushed his inner Tamasic energy to its limit. He appeared like a burning mountain, becoming even more terrifying as he neared his end.

यह कुम्भकर्ण के प्रचंड क्रोध और उसके असुर स्वभाव की पराकाष्ठा है। मुख से अग्नि (अर्चिषः) निकलना यह दर्शाता है कि बाणों की पीड़ा ने उसके भीतर के तामसिक वेग को चरम पर पहुँचा दिया था। वह एक जलते हुए पर्वत के समान लग रहा था, जो अपने अंत के निकट होने पर और भी भयानक हो जाता है।
