ते समारुरुहुर्हृष्टाः कुम्भकर्णं प्लवङ्गमाः ।
कुम्भकर्णस्तु संक्रुद्धः समारूढः प्लवङ्गमैः ॥६-६७-१३४॥
te samā ruruhur hṛṣṭāḥ kumbhakarṇaṃ plavaṅgamāḥ |
kumbhakarṇastu saṃkruddhaḥ samārūḍhaḥ plavaṅgamaiḥ ॥6-67-134॥
Translation
Those monkeys joyfully climbed upon Kumbhakarna. Being mounted by the monkeys, Kumbhakarna became exceedingly enraged.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे वानर हर्षित होकर कुम्भकर्ण के ऊपर चढ़ गए। वानरों के चढ़ जाने पर कुम्भकर्ण अत्यंत क्रोधित हो गया।
English Commentary
The command of Shri Lakshmana infused new enthusiasm into the Vanaras. The word 'Hrishtah' shows they were no longer afraid. Thousands of monkeys climbing a giant demon was an extraordinary sight. Kumbhakarna's rage intensified due to the humiliation and the increasing weight. This portrays a new dynamic of power on the battlefield.

लक्ष्मण जी की आज्ञा मिलते ही वानरों में नया उत्साह आ गया। 'हृष्टाः' शब्द यह दिखाता है कि वे अब भयभीत नहीं थे। हजारों वानरों का एक विशाल दानव पर चढ़ना एक अद्भुत दृश्य था। कुम्भकर्ण का क्रोध उसके अपमान और बढ़ते हुए भार के कारण और बढ़ गया। यह युद्ध के मैदान पर शक्ति के नए समीकरण का चित्रण है।
