Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
संतानार्थं त्वमेवैकः कुलस्यास्य भविष्यसि ।
राघवस्य प्रसादाच्च रक्षसां राज्यमाप्स्यसि ॥६-६७-१५०॥
saṃtānārthaṃ tvamēvaikaḥ kulasyāsya bhaviṣyasi |
rāghavasya prasādācca rakṣasāṃ rājyamāpsyasi ॥6-67-150॥
Translation
You alone will be the one to continue the progeny of this lineage, and by the grace of Shri Rama, you shall obtain the sovereignty over the Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस कुल की वंश परम्परा को चलाने वाले केवल तुम ही होगे और श्री रघुनाथ जी की कृपा से तुम राक्षसों का राज्य प्राप्त करोगे।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna clearly prophesies that Vibhishana will be the future King of Lanka. He exhibits full faith in the 'Prasada' (grace) of Shri Rama. This verse lays the groundwork for Vibhishana's eventual coronation. Kumbhakarna understands that Ravana's ego will sink Lanka, and only Vibhishana's virtuous nature can restore it.

कुम्भकर्ण स्पष्ट भविष्यवाणी कर रहा है कि विभीषण ही लंका के भावी राजा होंगे। उसे श्री राम के 'प्रसाद' (कृपा) पर पूर्ण विश्वास है। यह श्लोक विभीषण के भविष्य के राज्याभिषेक का आधार है। कुम्भकर्ण जानता है कि रावण का अहंकार लंका को ले डूबेगा और केवल विभीषण की सात्विकता ही उसे पुनः स्थापित कर पाएगी।
