स तस्य बाहुं सहसालवृक्षं समुद्यतं पन्नगभोगकल्पम् ।
ऐन्द्रास्त्रयुक्तेन जघान रामो बाणेन जाम्बूनदचित्रितेन ॥६-६७-१७२॥
sa tasya bāhuṃ sahasālavṛkṣaṃ samudyataṃ pannagabhogakalpam |
aindrāstrayuktena jaghāna rāmo bāṇena jāmbūnadacitritena ॥6-67-172॥
Translation
Shri Rama severed his (other) arm, which was raised with a Sala tree and was as thick as a serpent's body, with a gold-decorated arrow joined with the 'Aindra' (Indra's) missile.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सांप के शरीर के समान विशाल और साल के वृक्ष सहित उठी हुई उसकी उस (दूसरी) भुजा को श्री राम ने सुवर्ण से अलंकृत 'ऐन्द्रास्त्र' युक्त बाण से काट दिया।
English Commentary
Shri Rama now employed the 'Aindra' missile, symbolizing the infallible power of Indra. Kumbhakarna's second arm was severed, rendering him completely armless. The simile 'Pannagabhogakalpam' illustrates the strength and venomous ferocity of his arms. Shri Rama is systematically dismantling his power by severing his limbs one by one.

श्री राम ने अब 'ऐन्द्रास्त्र' का प्रयोग किया, जो देवराज इन्द्र की अमोघ शक्ति का प्रतीक है। कुम्भकर्ण की दूसरी भुजा भी कट गई, जिससे वह पूरी तरह बाहुहीन हो गया। 'पन्नगभोगकल्पम्' उपमा उसकी भुजा की शक्ति और विषैली उग्रता को दर्शाती है। श्री राम क्रमवार उसके अंगों को काटकर उसकी शक्ति को समूल नष्ट कर रहे हैं।
