अथाददे सूर्यमरीचिकल्पं स ब्रह्मदण्डान्तककालकल्पम् ।
अरिष्टमैन्द्रं निशितं सुपुङ्खं रामः शरं मारुततुल्यवेगम् ॥६-६७-१७८॥
athādade sūryamarīcikalpaṃ sa brahmadandāntakakālakalpam |
ariṣṭamāindraṃ niśitaṃ supuṅkhaṃ rāmaḥ śaraṃ mārutatulyavegam ॥6-67-178॥
Translation
Then Shri Rama took up that sharp and well-feathered 'Aindra' arrow, which was radiant like sunbeams, equal to the rod of Brahma, Death, and Time, and possessed speed like that of the wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब श्री राम ने सूर्य की किरणों के समान तेजस्वी, ब्रह्मा जी के दण्ड, यमराज और काल के समान भयानक, इन्द्र का वह तीक्ष्ण और सुंदर पंखों वाला अमोघ बाण (ऐन्द्रास्त्र) लिया, जिसका वेग वायु के समान था।
English Commentary
This describes the final destructive weapon. Comparing it to 'Brahmadanda' (Brahma's rod of punishment) and 'Kala' (Time/Death) confirms its infallible and devastating power. Shri Rama now employs His supreme arrow to conclude this epic duel. The phrase 'Surya-marici-kalpam' depicts its sacred and blazing brilliance, destined to dispel the darkness of Adharma.

यह अंतिम संहारक शस्त्र का वर्णन है। इसकी तुलना 'ब्रह्मदण्ड' और 'काल' से करना इसकी अचूक और विनाशकारी शक्ति को पुष्ट करता है। श्री राम अब इस महायुद्ध को समाप्त करने के लिए अपने सर्वश्रेष्ठ बाण का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। 'सूर्य-मरीचि-कल्पम्' शब्द उसकी पवित्र और प्रज्वलित कांति को दर्शाता है जो अधर्म के अंधकार को मिटाने वाली है।
