तं वज्रजाम्बूनदचारुपुङ्खं प्रदीप्तसूर्यज्वलनप्रकाशम् ।
महेन्द्रवज्राशनितुल्यवेगं रामः प्रचिक्षेप निशाचराय ॥६-६७-१७९॥
taṃ vajrajāmbūnadacārupuṅkhaṃ pradīptasūryajvalanaprakāśam |
mahendravajrāśanitulyavegaṃ rāmaḥ praci kṣepa niśācarāya ॥6-67-179॥
Translation
Shri Rama discharged at the night-stalker that arrow which had beautiful feathers decorated with diamonds and gold, which was as luminous as the blazing sun, and had speed like the thunderbolt of Indra.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हीरे और सोने से अलंकृत सुंदर पंखों वाले, चमकते हुए सूर्य की अग्नि के समान प्रकाशमान और इन्द्र के वज्र के समान वेग वाले उस बाण को श्री राम ने उस राक्षस पर छोड़ा।
English Commentary
The arrow's appearance is divine and magnificent. Its decoration with 'diamonds and gold' (Vajra-Jambunada) testifies to its celestial origin. It is not just a physical weapon but a power consecrated with sacred chants. This strike by Shri Rama is symbolic of cosmic justice, released to bring down the greatest pillar of Ravana's ego.

बाण का रूप अत्यंत दिव्य और वैभवशाली है। 'हीरे और सोने' (वज्र-जाम्बूनद) का अलंकरण उसके ईश्वरीय होने का प्रमाण है। यह केवल एक भौतिक अस्त्र नहीं, बल्कि मंत्रों से अभिमंत्रित एक शक्ति है। श्री राम का यह प्रहार ब्रह्मांडीय न्याय का प्रतीक है, जो रावण के अहंकार के सबसे बड़े स्तंभ को गिराने के लिए छोड़ा गया है।
