स शूलनिर्भिन्नमहाभुजान्तरः प्रविह्वलः शोणितमुद्वमन् मुखात् ।
ननाद भीमं हनुमान् महाहवे युगान्तमेघस्तनितस्वनोपमम् ॥६-६७-२०॥
sa śūlanirbhinnamahābhujāntaraḥ pravihvalaḥ śoṇitamudvaman mukhāt |
nanāda bhīmaṃ hanumān mahāhave yugāntameghastanitasvanopamam ॥6-67-20॥
Translation
With his great chest pierced by the trident, Hanuman was deeply distressed and, vomiting blood from his mouth, he uttered a terrible roar like the thundering of clouds at the end of an eon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शूल से अपनी विशाल छाती बिंध जाने पर, हनुमान जी अत्यंत व्याकुल हो गए और मुख से रक्त वमन करते हुए उन्होंने प्रलयकाल के बादलों की गर्जना के समान भयंकर नाद किया।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman's agony is expressed by the word 'Pravihvalah'. The vomiting of blood indicates the severity of the internal injury. However, His roar, likened to the clouds of Pralaya (annihilation), proves that His spiritual strength remains intact despite physical trauma. Standing His ground even after such a strike confirms His status as the 'Vajra-bodied' champion.

हनुमान जी की पीड़ा यहाँ 'प्रविह्वलः' शब्द से व्यक्त हुई है। मुख से रक्त निकलना चोट की गम्भीरता को दर्शाता है। किन्तु उनका गर्जन प्रलयंकारी बादलों जैसा है, जो यह सिद्ध करता है कि शारीरिक पीड़ा के बावजूद उनका आत्मबल टूटा नहीं है। वे इस भीषण आघात को सहकर भी शत्रु के सामने डटे हुए हैं, जो उनकी 'बजरंग' शक्ति का प्रमाण है।
