ततस्तु नीलो बलवान् पर्यवस्थापयन् बलम् ।
प्रविचिक्षेप शैलाग्रं कुम्भकर्णाय धीमते ॥६-६७-२२॥
tatastu nīlo balavān paryavasthāpayan balam |
pravicikṣepa śailāgraṃ kumbhakarṇāya dhīmate ॥6-67-22॥
Translation
Then the powerful Nila steadied his army and hurled a mountain peak at the wise Kumbhakarna.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब बलवान नील ने अपनी सेना को स्थिर किया और बुद्धिमान कुम्भकर्ण की ओर एक पर्वत शिखर फेंका।
English Commentary
Commander Nila fulfills his duty here. Restoring order to a fleeing army ('Paryavasthapayan') is the hallmark of leadership. After Shri Hanuman was struck, Nila took charge. Calling Kumbhakarna 'Dhimate' (wise) acknowledges his tactical acumen. Nila's strike is an attempt to breathe courage back into the Vanaras.

सेनापति नील यहाँ अपने उत्तरदायित्व का निर्वहन कर रहे हैं। भागती सेना को 'पयर्वस्थापयन्' (स्थिर करना) नेतृत्व का गुण है। हनुमान जी के आहत होने के बाद नील ने मोर्चा संभाला। कुम्भकर्ण को 'धीमते' कहना उसकी युद्ध-बुद्धि के प्रति सम्मान है। नील का यह प्रहार वानरों में पुनः साहस फूँकने का एक प्रयास है।
