Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
शैलशृङ्गं महद्गृह्य विनदंश्च मुहुर्मुहुः ।
त्रासयन् राक्षसान् सर्वान् कुम्भकर्णपदानुगान् ॥६-६७-४४॥
śailaśṛṅgaṃ mahadgṛhya vinadaṃśca muhurmuhuḥ |
trāsayan rākṣasān sarvān kumbhakarṇapadānugān ॥6-67-44॥
Translation
Seizing a massive mountain peak and roaring repeatedly, Angada terrified all the Rakshasas who were following Kumbhakarna.
हिंदी अनुवाद
एक विशाल पर्वत शिखर लेकर और बार-बार गर्जना करते हुए, अंगद ने कुम्भकर्ण के पीछे चलने वाले सभी राक्षसों को डरा दिया।
English Commentary
Angada not only challenged Kumbhakarna but also instilled terror among his supporting troops. His roar was an invitation of death for the Rakshasas. The word 'Trasayan' (terrifying) shows that Angada's aura was so powerful that the demons hesitated to approach him. This is an attempt to restore the balance of power on the battlefield.

अंगद ने न केवल कुम्भकर्ण को चुनौती दी, बल्कि उसकी सहायक सेना में भी आतंक फैला दिया। उनकी गर्जना राक्षसों के लिए काल का निमंत्रण थी। 'त्रासयन्' (डराना) शब्द यह दिखाता है कि अंगद का तेज इतना प्रचंड था कि राक्षस उनके समीप आने से हिचकने लगे। यह युद्ध के मैदान पर शक्ति के संतुलन को पुनः स्थापित करने का प्रयास है।
