तत् कुम्भकर्णस्य भुजप्रविद्धं शूलं शितं काञ्चनदामजुष्टम् ।
क्षिप्रं समुत्पत्य निगृह्य दोभ्यां बभञ्ज वेगेन सुतोऽनिलस्य ॥६-६७-६३॥
tat kumbhakarṇasya bhujapraviddhaṃ śūlaṃ śitaṃ kāñcanadāmajuṣṭam |
kṣipraṃ samutpatya nigṛhya dobhyāṃ babhañja vegena suto'nilasya ॥6-67-63॥
Translation
That sharp trident, adorned with golden bands and hurled by Kumbhakarna's arms, was quickly caught with both hands by the son of the Wind (Hanuman) as he leaped up, and he broke it with force.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कुम्भकर्ण की भुजाओं से छोड़े गए उस तीक्ष्ण और स्वर्ण की मालाओं से सजे शूल को, वायुपुत्र हनुमान जी ने तेजी से उछलकर दोनों हाथों से पकड़ लिया और उसे तोड़ डाला।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman's re-entry into the action is a major turning point. Catching and breaking the trident with both hands ('Dobhyam') is a testament to His superhuman strength. That trident, considered invincible, snapped like a twig in Hanuman's hands. This sight revitalized the Vanara army and left the Rakshasas stunned.

हनुमान जी का पुनः युद्ध में सक्रिय होना एक महान मोड़ है। 'दोभ्यां' (दोनों हाथों से) शूल को पकड़ना और तोड़ देना उनके अमानवीय बल का प्रमाण है। वह शूल, जो अजेय माना जाता था, हनुमान जी के हाथों में तिनके के समान टूट गया। यह दृश्य वानर सेना में नवीन प्राण फूँकने वाला और राक्षसों को स्तब्ध कर देने वाला है।
