विद्रुतां वाहिनीं दृष्ट्वा वानराणां ततस्ततः ।
कुम्भकर्णेन सुग्रीवं गृहीतं चापि वानरम् ॥६-६७-७३॥
vidrutāṃ vāhinīṃ dṛṣṭvā vānarāṇāṃ tatastathaḥ |
kumbhakarṇena sugrīvaṃ gṛhītaṃ cāpi vānaram ॥6-67-73॥
Translation
Seeing the Vanara army fleeing here and there and also seeing the monkey Sugriva captured by Kumbhakarna—

कुम्भकर्ण द्वारा वानरराज सुग्रीव को पकड़े जाने पर और वानर सेना को इधर-उधर भागते हुए देखकर—
English Commentary
This verse describes the disintegration of the Vanara forces. Witnessing their King being carried away by the enemy caused a total collapse of courage among the troops. It is a scene of absolute chaos where even a vast force becomes directionless without leadership. This sets the stage for Shri Hanuman's internal deliberation as he prepares to find a solution to this crisis.

यह श्लोक वानर सेना के बिखराव का वर्णन करता है। अपने राजा को शत्रु के हाथों में बंदी देखकर वानरों का साहस पूरी तरह टूट गया था। यह दृश्य अराजकता का है, जहाँ नेतृत्व के अभाव में एक विशाल बल भी दिशाहीन हो जाता है। यहाँ से श्री हनुमान जी की वैचारिक प्रक्रिया आरम्भ होती है, जो इस संकट का समाधान खोजने का प्रयास करेंगे।
