शोणितार्द्रो महाकायो राक्षसो भीमविक्रमः ।
युद्धायाभिमुखो भूयो मनश्चक्रे महाबलः ॥६-६७-९१॥
śoṇitārdro mahākāyo rākṣaso bhīmavikramaḥ |
yuddhāyābhimukho bhūyo manaścakre mahābalaḥ ॥6-67-91॥
Translation
Drenched in blood, that massive-bodied Rakshasa of terrible prowess and great strength once again set his mind on battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
रक्त से लथपथ, भयंकर पराक्रम वाले उस विशालकाय और महाबली राक्षस ने पुनः युद्ध करने का निश्चय किया।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna's thirst for battle remains unquenched. Even after severe injuries, he is not ready to retreat. Instead of fear, the fire of revenge burns within him. This reflects his demonic persistence, where even while marching toward his own doom, he sees war as his only alternative.
हिंदी टीका
कुम्भकर्ण की युद्ध-लिप्सा अभी शांत नहीं हुई है। अत्यधिक घायल होने के बाद भी वह पीछे हटने को तैयार नहीं है। 'भय' के स्थान पर उसमें 'प्रतिशोध' की ज्वाला जल रही है। यह उसकी आसुरी दृढ़ता को दर्शाता है, जहाँ वह अपने विनाश की ओर बढ़ते हुए भी युद्ध को ही अपना एकमात्र विकल्प मानता है।
