ततः स पुर्याः सहसा महौजा निष्क्रम्य तद्वानरसैन्यमुग्रम् ।
तेनैव रूपेण बभञ्ज रुष्टः प्रहारमुष्ट्या च पदेन सद्यः ॥६-६७-९४॥
tataḥ sa puryāḥ sahasā mahaujā niṣkramya tadvānarasaīnyamugram |
tenaiva rūpeṇa babhañja ruṣṭaḥ prahāramuṣṭyā ca padena sadyaḥ ॥6-67-94॥
Translation
Then that highly energetic one (Kumbhakarna), suddenly emerging from the city in anger, immediately began to crush that fierce Vanara army with the blows of his fists and his feet.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उस महातेजस्वी (कुम्भकर्ण) ने नगरी से अचानक निकलकर क्रोध में भरकर वानरों की उस भयंकर सेना को अपने मुक्कों और लातों के प्रहार से तुरंत ही कुचलना आरम्भ कर दिया।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna is now conducting an indiscriminate slaughter. His assault became even more ferocious as he moved outside the boundaries of Lanka. The use of 'Mushti' (fist) and 'Pada' (foot) highlights his primal strength. He intends to avenge the humiliation inflicted by Sugriva upon the entire Vanara race.

कुम्भकर्ण अब बिना किसी भेद के संहार कर रहा है। लंका की सीमा से बाहर निकलकर उसका आक्रमण और भी भीषण हो गया है। 'मुष्टि' और 'पाद' (मुक्के और लात) का प्रयोग उसकी पाशविक शक्ति को दर्शाता है। वह सुग्रीव द्वारा किए गए अपमान का प्रतिशोध पूरी वानर जाति से लेना चाहता है।
