Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एकं द्वौ त्रीन् बहून् क्रुद्धो वानरान् सह राक्षसैः ।
समादायैकहस्तेन प्रचिक्षेप त्वरन् मुखे ॥६-६७-९७॥
ekaṃ dvau trīn bahūn kruddho vānarān saha rākṣasaiḥ |
samādāyaikahastena praci kṣepa tvaran mukhe ॥6-67-97॥
Translation
Filling with rage, he seized one, two, three, and many monkeys along with Rakshasas with just one hand and quickly threw them into his mouth.
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्रोधित होकर उसने एक, दो, तीन और बहुत से वानरों तथा राक्षसों को एक ही हाथ से पकड़कर शीघ्रता से अपने मुख में डालना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
Kumbhakarna's immensity and speed are described here. Lifting multiple warriors with a single hand reveals his unimaginable physical strength. The word 'Tvaran' (acting with haste) reflects his violent agitation. This scene was rapidly transforming the battlefield into a literal charnel house.

कुम्भकर्ण की विशालता और गति का यहाँ वर्णन है। एक हाथ से कई योद्धाओं को उठा लेना उसके अकल्पनीय शारीरिक सामर्थ्य को प्रकट करता है। 'त्वरन्' (शीघ्रता करते हुए) शब्द उसकी हिंसक व्याकुलता को दर्शाता है। यह दृश्य रणभूमि को एक श्मशान के रूप में परिवर्तित कर रहा था।
