एवं विलपमानस्य रावणस्य दुरात्मनः ।
श्रुत्वा शोकाभितप्तस्य त्रिशिरा वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥६-६९-१॥
evaṃ vilapamānasya rāvaṇasya durātmanaḥ |
śrutvā śokābhitaptasya triśirā vākyamabravīt ॥6-69-1॥
Translation
Hearing the lamentation of the evil-minded Ravana, who was tormented by grief, Trishira spoke these words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार विलाप करते हुए और शोक से संतप्त उस दुरात्मा रावण (की बातें) सुनकर त्रिशिरा ने यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Ravana is plunged into deep grief following Kumbhakarna's death. Here, Trishira (Ravana's son) steps in to console his father and rally him for war. Trishira's intervention illustrates the familial loyalty within the Rakshasa clan, where sons are ready to uphold their father's honor and defend the kingdom even when the leader (Ravana) is emotionally shattered.

कुम्भकर्ण की मृत्यु के बाद रावण गहरे शोक में डूबा हुआ है। यहाँ त्रिशिरा (रावण का पुत्र) अपने पिता को सांत्वना देने और युद्ध के लिए प्रेरित करने का प्रयास करता है। त्रिशिरा का हस्तक्षेप यह दर्शाता है कि राक्षस कुल में पुत्र अपने पिता के सम्मान और राज्य की रक्षा के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहते थे, भले ही नेता (रावण) भावनात्मक रूप से टूट चुका हो।
