सर्वे सुबलसम्पन्नाः सर्वे विकीर्णकीर्तयः ।
सर्वे समरमासाद्य न श्रूयन्ते पराजिताः ॥६-६९-१२॥
sarve subalasampannāḥ sarve vikīrṇakīrtayaḥ |
sarve samaramāsādya na śrūyante parājitāḥ ॥6-69-12॥
Translation
All were endowed with great strength, all had widespread fame, and it was never heard that they were defeated after entering a battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे सभी महान बल से संपन्न थे, सभी की कीर्ति फैली हुई थी, और युद्ध में पहुँचकर वे कभी पराजित हुए हों, ऐसा नहीं सुना गया था।
English Commentary
These warriors had an unblemished track record. They had never been defeated. This fact amplifies the gravity of the challenge facing Shri Rama and his army.

इन योद्धाओं का 'ट्रैक रिकॉर्ड' बेदाग था। वे कभी नहीं हारे थे। यह तथ्य श्री राम और उनकी सेना के सामने खड़ी चुनौती की गंभीरता को बढ़ाता है।
