आरुरोह रथश्रेष्ठं श्रेष्ठः सर्वधनुष्मताम् ।
सुचक्राक्षं सुसंयुक्तं स्वनुकर्षं सुकूबरम् ॥६-६९-२६॥
āruroha rathaśreṣṭhaṃ śreṣṭhaḥ sarvadhanuṣmatām |
sucakrākṣaṃ susaṃyuktaṃ svanukarṣaṃ sukūbaram ॥6-69-26॥
Translation
...(who was) the best among all archers, mounted an excellent chariot. (The chariot) had good wheels and axles, was well-yoked, and had good poles and yokes.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...(जो) सभी धनुर्धारियों में श्रेष्ठ था, एक उत्तम रथ पर सवार हुआ। (वह रथ) अच्छे पहियों और धुरों वाला, अच्छी तरह जुता हुआ, अच्छे धुरे के डंडों और जुए वाला था।
English Commentary
Atikaya is an expert archer. The technical superiority of his chariot (good wheels, axles, etc.) is described in detail, which is essential for a Maharathi.
