जगृहुश्चापि ते वीरा निर्यान्तो युद्धदुर्मदाः ।
क्ष्वेलितास्फोटनिनदैश्चचाल च वसुन्धरा ॥६-६९-३९॥
jagṛhuścāpi te vīrā niryānto yuddhadurmadāḥ |
kṣvelitāsphoṭaninadaiścacāla ca vasundharā ॥6-69-39॥
Translation
Those heroes, intoxicated by war, took up weapons as they went out. The earth shook with the sounds of their roaring and arm-clapping.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्ध के मद में चूर वे वीर निकलते हुए (हथियारों को) ग्रहण कर रहे थे। उनके गर्जन और ताल ठोकने के शब्दों से पृथ्वी कांपने लगी।
English Commentary
The shaking of the earth due to the army's march and noise reflects their massive numbers and power.
