वज्रनिष्पेषसदृशं प्रासस्याभिनिपातनम् ।
न शेकुर्वानराः सोढुं ते विनेदुर्महास्वनम् ॥६-६९-७९॥
vajraniṣpeṣasadṛśaṃ prāsasyābhinipātanam |
na śekurvānarāḥ soḍhuṃ te vinedurmahāsvanam ॥6-69-79॥
Translation
The monkeys could not withstand the impact of that lance, which was like the crash of a thunderbolt, and they cried out loudly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वज्र के गिरने के समान उस प्रास के प्रहार को वानर नहीं सह सके और वे जोर-जोर से चिल्लाने लगे।
English Commentary
Here, the sound and intensity of the impact are described. The thunderbolt-like crash and blow were enough to shatter the monkeys' morale. Their loud cries reveal their helplessness.

यहाँ प्रहार की ध्वनि और आघात की तीव्रता का वर्णन है। वज्रपात जैसा शब्द और चोट वानरों के मनोबल को तोड़ने के लिए पर्याप्त था। उनकी चीत्कार उनकी असहायता को प्रकट करती है।
