तं प्रासमालोक्य तदा विभग्नं सुपर्णकृत्तोरगभोगकल्पम् ।
तलं समुद्यम्य स वालिपुत्रस्तुरङ्गमं तस्य जघान मूर्ध्नि ॥६-६९-९२॥
taṃ prāsamālokya tadā vibhagnaṃ suparṇakṛttoragabhogakalpam |
talaṃ samudyamya sa vāliputrasturaṅgamaṃ tasya jaghāna mūrdhni ॥6-69-92॥
Translation
Seeing that broken lance looking like the body of a snake cut by Garuda, the son of Vali raised his palm and struck his horse on the head.
हिंदी अनुवाद
गरुड़ द्वारा काटे गए सांप के शरीर के समान उस टूटे हुए प्रास को देखकर, बालिपुत्र ने हथेली (थप्पड़) उठाई और उसके घोड़े के सिर पर मारी।
English Commentary
Angada first disarmed the enemy (indirectly) and then struck the horse to destroy his mobility. This is the strategy of a skilled warrior.
हिंदी टीका
अंगद ने पहले शत्रु को निःशस्त्र किया (अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से) और फिर उसकी गतिशीलता (mobility) को नष्ट करने के लिए घोड़े पर प्रहार किया। यह एक कुशल योद्धा की रणनीति है।
