निमग्नतालुः स्फुटिताक्षितारो निष्क्रान्तजिह्वो ऽचलसन्निकाशः ।
स तस्य वाजी निपपात भूमौ तलप्रहारेण विशीर्णमूर्धा ॥६-६९-९३॥
nimagnatāluḥ sphuṭitākṣitāro niṣkrāntajihvo 'calasannikāśaḥ |
sa tasya vājī nipapāta bhūmau talaprahāreṇa viśīrṇamūrdhā ॥6-69-93॥
Translation
With its palate sunken, pupils burst, tongue hanging out, and skull shattered by the slap, that mountain-like horse fell to the ground.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तालू धंस जाने, आँखों की पुतलियाँ फूट जाने, जीभ बाहर निकल आने और सिर चकनाचूर हो जाने से, वह पर्वत के समान (विशाल) घोड़ा थप्पड़ की चोट से पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़ा।
English Commentary
Angada's single slap contained enough power to instantly kill a massive warhorse. This description is extremely graphic ('Raudra') and demonstrates the physical might of the monkey prince.
