तमापन्तमाकाशे द्रुमवर्षं प्रतापवान् ।
त्रिशिरा निसितैर्बाणैश्चिच्छेद च ननाद च ॥६-७०-३६॥
tamāpantamākāśe drumavarṣaṃ pratāpavān |
triśirā nisitaīrbāṇaiściccheda ca nanāda ca ॥6-70-36॥
Translation
The illustrious Trishira cut that approaching rain of trees in the sky with his sharp arrows and roared loudly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आकाश में आते हुए उस वृक्षों के समूह को प्रतापी त्रिशिरा ने अपने तीखे बाणों से काट दिया और जोर से गर्जना की।
English Commentary
Trishira's confidence is at its peak as he neutralizes every strike from Hanuman. His roar ('Nanada') symbolizes his temporary triumph and hubris. He believes he is capable of containing Hanuman, unaware of the impending cataclysm that awaits him.
हिंदी टीका
त्रिशिरा का आत्मविश्वास यहाँ अपने चरम पर है। वह हनुमान जी के हर प्रहार को विफल कर रहा है। उसकी गर्जना (ननाद) उसकी क्षणिक विजय और अहंकार का प्रतीक है। वह समझ रहा है कि वह हनुमान जी को रोकने में सक्षम है, किन्तु वह आने वाले प्रलय से अनजान है।
