ततो हनूमानुत्प्लुत्य हयांत्रिशिरसस्तदा ।
विददार नखैः क्रुद्धो गजेन्द्रं मृगराडिव ॥६-७०-३७॥
tato hanūmānutplutya hayāntriśirasastadā |
vidadāra nakhaīḥ krūddho gajendraṃ mṛgarāḍiva ॥6-70-37॥
Translation
Then Hanuman, leaping up, tore apart Trishira's horses with His nails, just as a lion tears apart a great elephant.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब हनुमान जी ने उछलकर त्रिशिरा के घोड़ों को अपने नाखूनों से वैसे ही फाड़ दिया, जैसे सिंह किसी विशाल हाथी को फाड़ देता है।
English Commentary
Hanuman now targets Trishira's source of mobility—the horses. The analogy of the 'King of Animals' (lion) signifies His majestic prowess and violent strength. Using nails ('Nakhaih') is the natural and extremely lethal combat style of the Vanaras. With his horses destroyed, Trishira is forced to the ground.

हनुमान जी ने अब त्रिशिरा के गति के साधन (घोड़ों) पर प्रहार किया। 'मृगराट्' (सिंह) की उपमा उनके राजसी पराक्रम और हिंसक शक्ति को दर्शाती है। नाखूनों (नखैः) का प्रयोग वानरों की स्वाभाविक और अत्यंत घातक युद्ध कला है। घोड़ों के नष्ट होते ही त्रिशिरा अब भूमि पर आने के लिए विवश हो गया।
