ततः खड्गं समुद्यम्य त्रिशिरा राक्षसोत्तमः ।
निजघान तदा व्यूढे वायुपुत्रस्य वक्षसि ॥६-७०-४१॥
tataḥ khaḍgaṃ samudyamya triśirā rākṣasottamaḥ |
nijaghāna tadā vyūḍhe vāyuputrasya vakṣasi ॥6-70-41॥
Translation
Then Trishira, the foremost among Rakshasas, raised his sword and struck the broad chest of Hanuman, the son of the Wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब श्रेष्ठ राक्षस त्रिशिरा ने तलवार उठाई और पवनपुत्र हनुमान जी की विशाल छाती पर प्रहार किया।
English Commentary
Trishira now resorts to his final weapon—the sword. He strikes at Hanuman's vital chest area. The duel has transformed into an intense close-quarter struggle. Trishira's bravery is notable as he refuses to retreat even after all his primary weapons have failed.
हिंदी टीका
त्रिशिरा अब अपनी अंतिम शक्ति—तलवार—का प्रयोग कर रहा है। उसने हनुमान जी के मर्म स्थल 'वक्ष' (छाती) पर प्रहार किया। यह द्वंद्व अब अत्यंत निकट के संघर्ष (क्लोज कॉम्बैट) में बदल गया है। त्रिशिरा की वीरता यहाँ प्रशंसनीय है कि वह सब कुछ खोने के बाद भी पीछे नहीं हट रहा है।
