स तस्य शीर्षाण्यसिना शितेन किरीटजुष्टानि सकुण्डलानि ।
क्रुद्धः प्रचिच्छेद सुतो ऽनिलस्य त्वष्टुः सुतस्येव शिरांसि शक्रः ॥६-७०-४७॥
sa tasya śīrṣāṇyasinā śitena kirīṭajuṣṭāni sakuṇḍalāni |
kruddhaḥ praciccheda suto 'nilasya tvaṣṭuḥ sutasyeva śirāṃsi śakraḥ ॥6-70-47॥
Translation
Enraged, the son of the Wind severed the three heads of Trishira, which were adorned with crowns and earrings, with his own sharp sword, just as Indra severed the heads of the son of Tvashta.
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्रोधित पवनपुत्र ने उस त्रिशिरा के मुकुट और कुण्डलों से सुशोभित तीनों सिरों को उसी की तीखी तलवार से वैसे ही काट दिया, जैसे इन्द्र ने त्वष्टा के पुत्र (विश्वरूप) के सिर काट दिए थे।
English Commentary
Hanuman slew all three heads of Trishira. The significance of the name 'Trishira' (three-headed) and the mythic comparison to Indra beheading Vishvarupa are pivotal here. Severing the heads complete with crowns and earrings symbolizes the total destruction of his royal hubris. This is the sword of Dharma that severs every manifestation of unrighteousness.

हनुमान जी ने त्रिशिरा के तीनों सिरों का संहार किया। यहाँ 'त्रिशिरा' नाम की सार्थकता और उसके अंत की पौराणिक तुलना (इन्द्र और विश्वरूप) महत्वपूर्ण है। मुकुट और कुण्डलों सहित सिरों का कटना उसके राजसी अहंकार के पूर्ण विनाश का प्रतीक है। यह धर्म की वह तलवार है जो अधर्म के हर रूप को काट देती है।
