हतं त्रिशिरसं दृष्ट्वा तथैव च महोदरम् ।
हतौ प्रेक्ष्य दुराधर्षौ देवान्तकनरान्तकौ ॥६-७०-५०॥
hataṃ triśirasaṃ dṛṣṭvā tathaiva ca mahodaram |
hatau prekṣya durādharṣau devāntakanarāntakau ॥6-70-50॥

Seeing Trishira and Mahodara slain, and witnessing the death of the invincible Devantaka and Narantaka—

त्रिशिरा और महोदर को मरा हुआ देखकर, तथा अजेय देवान्तक और नरान्तक के वध को देख—
English Commentary
Four great pillars of Lanka fell in a single day. This verse encapsulates the magnitude of the carnage. The collective end of Ravana's sons and ministers serves as the preamble to Lanka's final defeat. The epithet 'Duradharshau' (invincible) reminds us of the scale of the powers the Vanara army has overcome.

लंका के चार महान स्तंभ एक ही दिन में धराशायी हो गए। यह श्लोक संहार की गम्भीरता को संकलित करता है। रावण के पुत्रों और मंत्रियों का यह सामूहिक अंत लंका की अंतिम पराजय की भूमिका है। 'दुराधर्षौ' (अजेय) विशेषण यह याद दिलाता है कि वानर सेना ने कितनी बड़ी शक्तियों को परास्त किया है।
