मुहूर्तमासीत् स गतासुकल्पः प्रत्यागतात्मा सहसा सुगारिः ।
उपेत्य सन्ध्याभ्रसमानवर्णंस्तं वारिजातामजमाजघान ॥६-७०-६१॥
muhūrtamāsīt sa gatāsukalpaḥ pratyāgatātmā sahasā sugāriḥ |
upetya sandhyābhrasamānavarṇaṃstaṃ vārijātāmajamājaghāna ॥6-70-61॥
Translation
For a moment, that Rakshasa (Mahaparshva) appeared as if dead, but suddenly he regained consciousness and rose. He then struck Rishabha, who had the color of evening clouds.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह राक्षस (महापार्श्व) एक क्षण के लिए मरा हुआ सा प्रतीत हुआ, किन्तु अचानक उसे चेतना प्राप्त हुई और वह उठ खड़ा हुआ। उसने संध्याकालीन बादलों के समान वर्ण वाले ऋषभ पर प्रहार किया।
English Commentary
The volatility of war is evident once again. Mahaparshva rising from a near-death state ('Gatasukalpah') testifies to his demonic resilience. Comparing Rishabha's body to evening clouds captures his radiant yet blood-stained appearance. The duel was far from over, escalating toward an even more violent phase.

युद्ध की अनिश्चितता यहाँ फिर से दिखाई देती है। 'गतसुकल्पः' (मरे हुए के समान) महापार्श्व का पुनः उठना उसकी राक्षसी माया और शक्ति का प्रमाण है। ऋषभ के शरीर की तुलना संध्याकालीन बादलों से करना उनके कांतिमान और रक्त रंजित रूप को चित्रित करता है। यह द्वंद्व अभी समाप्त नहीं हुआ था, बल्कि एक और हिंसक मोड़ की ओर बढ़ रहा था।
