ततस्तु वायोर्वचनं निशम्य सौमित्रिरिन्द्रप्रतिमानवीर्यः ।
समाददे बाणममोघवेगं तद्ब्रह्ममस्त्रं सहसा नियोज्य ॥६-७१-१०४॥
tatastu vāyorvacanaṃ niśamya saumitririndrapratimānavīryaḥ |
samādade bāṇamamoghavegaṃ tadbrāhmamastraṃ sahasā niyojya ॥6-71-104॥
Translation
Then, hearing the words of Vayu, the son of Sumitra, equal in valor to Indra, took up an arrow of unfailing speed and suddenly invoked the 'Brahmastra' onto it.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब वायु के वचन सुनकर, इन्द्र के समान पराक्रमी सुमित्रानंदन ने अमोघ वेग वाला बाण लिया और उस पर सहसा 'ब्रह्मास्त्र' का प्रयोग (आवाहन) किया।
English Commentary
Lakshmana acts immediately upon receiving the intelligence. The 'Brahmastra' is the ultimate weapon, used only in extreme situations.

ज्ञान मिलते ही लक्ष्मण जी उसे क्रियान्वित करते हैं। 'ब्रह्मास्त्र' अंतिम और सर्वोच्च अस्त्र है। इसका प्रयोग केवल चरम स्थितियों में किया जाता है।
