कालजिह्वाप्रकाशाभिर्य एषो ऽतिविराजते ।
आवृतो रथशक्तीभिर्विद्युद्भिरिव तोयदः ॥६-७१-१४॥
kālajihvāprakāśābhirya eṣo'tivirājate |
āvṛto rathaśaktībhirvidyudbhiriva toyadaḥ ॥6-71-14॥
Translation
He who shines exceedingly, surrounded by chariot-Shaktis (missiles) shining like the tongue of Death/Time, just as a cloud is surrounded by lightning.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो काल (मृत्यु) की जीभ के समान चमकने वाली रथ-शक्तियों (विशिष्ट अस्त्रों) से घिरा हुआ ऐसा विराज रहा है जैसे बिजलियों से घिरा हुआ बादल।
English Commentary
The weaponry is personified as the 'tongue of Death'. The imagery of a storm cloud surrounded by lightning reinforces the electric, dangerous energy radiating from Atikaya's chariot. Shri Rama is keenly observing the threat level.

अतिकाय के रथ में रखी शक्तियों (मिसाइलों) की चमक 'कालजिह्वा' (मृत्यु की जीभ) जैसी है। वह 'विद्युद्भिः तोयदः' (बिजली से घिरे बादल) जैसा लग रहा है। यह उसकी संहारक क्षमता का वर्णन है।
