नहि मद्बाहुसृष्टानामस्त्राणां हिमवानपि ।
सोढुमुत्सहते वेगमन्तरिक्षमथो मही ॥६-७१-५२॥
nahi madbāhusṛṣṭānāmastrāṇāṃ himavānapi |
soḍhumutsahate vegamantarikṣamatho mahī ॥6-71-52॥
Translation
Neither the Himavan (Himalayas), nor the sky, nor the earth is capable of withstanding the speed/force of the weapons released by my arms.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरी भुजाओं से छोड़े गए अस्त्रों का वेग सहने में हिमालय, आकाश या पृथ्वी भी समर्थ नहीं हैं।
English Commentary
Boasting of power. Atikaya claims his attacks are irresistible even to mountains and the earth itself. This hyperbole is meant to intimidate the 'boy' standing before him.

आत्म-प्रशंसा। अतिकाय दावा करता है कि उसके बाणों का वेग प्रकृति की सबसे मजबूत चीजें (हिमालय, पृथ्वी) भी नहीं सह सकतीं। वह लक्ष्मण को अपनी शक्ति का पैमाना बता रहा है।
